Job Description:
Use technical skills, industry knowledge and custom tools to efficiently perform data analysis and migrations of 3rd party/client data from MS SQL to Postgres.
● Work directly with the technical teams to effectively coordinate each migration project to completion.
● Monitor all work for quality while troubleshooting and resolving errors as necessary.
● Assess the necessary requirements to execute data services and anticipate future consequences and trends accurately.
● Create and articulate innovative strategies and plans for complex data needs.
● System-thinker that can understand complex concepts and apply new information quickly.
● Cross-departmental collaboration in communicating process successes/failures to internal and external stakeholders to identify potential areas of improvement.
● Work with industry standard ETL tools to build on and improve a library of data connections.
● DBA lifecyle Support (Patching, Backup, Upgrades, migrations)
● Monitoring and Queue management (SRs, RFCs,JIRAs)
● Critical escalation support where skilled DBA resources are needed
Mandatory skills- Migration from Mssql to PostgreSQL, AWS SCT
