We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating robust data models and data pipelines using Power BI, while also acting as a business analyst to provide data-backed answers to business queries. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in translating business requirements into insightful visualizations and reports, enabling data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop Data Models: Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable data models using Power BI to support the organization's reporting and analytics needs. Ensure data models are optimized for performance and adhere to best practices.
• Build Data Pipelines: Create data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the Power BI environment. Implement data integration processes to ensure data quality and accuracy.
• Design Visualizations and Reports: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into meaningful visualizations and reports. Develop interactive dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs to present data in a clear and concise manner.
• Data Analysis: Act as a business analyst, working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and define key metrics and performance indicators. Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions.
• Data Governance: Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security by implementing appropriate data governance practices. Establish and enforce data quality standards and guidelines.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on using Power BI tools and features effectively. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to data models, pipelines, and visualizations.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest trends, techniques, and advancements in Power BI and data analytics. Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest innovative solutions.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Power BI Developer, Data Analyst, or similar role.
• Technical Skills:

   - Proficiency in Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, and Power Query.

   - Knowledge of SQL and relational databases, including MySQL.

   - Knowledge with data integration and ETL processes.

   - Familiarity with data visualization best practices and UI/UX principles.

• Business Acumen: Ability to understand and translate business requirements into data-driven solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Team Player: Capable of working collaboratively in a team environment. Willingness to share knowledge and assist colleagues.
• Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
• Bachelor’s degree: A degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field is preferred but not essential
• Knowledge of PHP and experience working with PHP-based applications will be considered a plus.
