Job Description: As an SAP SPDD Consultant, you will play a critical role in managing the software modifications during SAP upgrades and support pack installations. You will work closely with our clients to ensure the smooth transition of custom developments while adhering to best practices and minimizing risks to system integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and evaluate custom modifications, enhancements, and adjustments made to standard SAP objects.
• Collaborate with project teams to assess the impact of SAP upgrades and support pack installations on existing custom developments.
• Utilize the SAP SPDD toolset to resolve conflicts and merge customizations with new standard objects.
• Develop strategies and procedures to minimize downtime and mitigate risks during the SPDD process.
• Provide guidance and support to technical teams on resolving issues related to SPDD activities.
• Document SPDD activities, including modification adjustments and resolution of conflicts, for future reference and auditing purposes.
• Communicate effectively with clients and project stakeholders to ensure alignment on SPDD processes and outcomes.
• Stay updated on the latest SAP SPDD best practices, tools, and techniques to continuously improve service delivery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• years of experience in SAP ABAP development with a strong understanding of SAP SPDD processes.
• Hands-on experience with SPDD activities, including modification adjustment, conflict resolution, and transport management.
• Proficiency in SAP tools such as SPDD, SPAU (Software Update Manager Adjustments), and SCU (SAP Check-Up).
• Familiarity with SAP upgrade and support pack installation procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
• SAP certification in SPDD is preferred.
