Job Description: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Manual Test Engineer to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for ensuring the reliability and functionality of software products through comprehensive manual testing processes. As a Manual Test Engineer, you will be responsible for executing test plans, identifying defects, and providing feedback to developers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze software requirements to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Execute manual test cases to validate software functionality, usability, and performance.
• Identify, isolate, and document defects using defect tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and resolve identified defects.
• Participate in requirement review meetings, sprint planning sessions, and daily stand-ups.
• Provide timely and accurate test status reports to project stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• X years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with manual testing techniques, including functional testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Experience with test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or HP ALM.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow test plans accurately.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks is a plus.
• ISTQB or similar certification in software testing is desirable.
